Our History

The DiGiovanna Research Center was established in 1959 by Dr. Michael DiGiovanna’s parents, continuing a legacy of medical excellence and compassionate care. Dr. Michael DiGiovanna, a distinguished physician with over three decades of experience, has significantly contributed to the center’s growth. Under his leadership, the center has become a premier institution known for innovative research on conditions like ulcerative colitis, Crohn’s disease, migraines, severe hypertriglyceridemia, Lyme disease, COPD, and asthma.

Dr. Michael DiGiovanna, DO, CPI
Dr. Michael DiGiovanna is the founder and principal investigator at the DiGiovanna Research Center. With over three decades of experience in family medicine and clinical research, Dr. DiGiovanna has led over 400 clinical trials. He is a board-certified family physician and a Certified Physician Investigator. Dr. DiGiovanna graduated summa cum laude from the New York Institute of Technology and earned his medical degree from the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine.
